1. Nature of the consultancy: Consultancy services to organize large-scale public event to mark World Day against trafficking in persons.

Objective: Organize large-scale public event to mark the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons in local park area, in close coordination with IOM and national counterparts and ensure high involvement and interest of park visitors and wide media coverage.

Target: Enhanced public awareness on the issues of human trafficking, risks of irregular migration and promotion of safe and orderly migration, through designing and organization of a large-scale public event in Tashkent, dedicated to the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.


IOM Project to which the Consultancy is contributing: USAID DAR 'Counter Trafficking' Regional Project in Central Asia


  1. 2.     Tasks to be performed under this contract:

a)                 Develop a concept note and agenda of the event, finalize in accordance with comments of IOM and national counterparts, if any;

b)                 Ensure the format of the event includes:

  • Inter-active tools;
  • Multi-media tools;
  • Quest rooms, art-installations or equivalent tools;
  • Tools to motivate the participants to make social media postings and usage of relevant hashtags.  

c)                 Conduct required organizational, logistical and administrative arrangements to prepare for the event, in line with IOM rules and procedures;

d)                 Ensure wide coverage of the event by mass-media, including bloggers;

e)                 Develop creative suggestions on producing promo-goods (bracelets/t-shirts and others)

f)                  Participate and/or initiate meetings with the Supervisor to discuss specific peculiarities of the work, if needed;

g)                 Undertake other duties as might be required by the Supervisor;

  1. Tangible and measurable output of the work assignment: At least 300 persons participate at the event.
  2. Delivery dates: June-July, 2019.
  3. Performance indicator will be feedback from IOM.
